MILFORD, Del. – After a rigorous re-certification audit at the beginning of May, Mohawk Electrical Systems has just been deemed ISO 9001:2015 certified.
The new certification comes in wake of new operational changes to the quality and administrative departments to better improve their customer experience. The changes include improving customer communications, vendor risk assessments and changes to testing of customers’ components.
Louis Loper, quality assurance manager at Mohawk, was praised on areas Mohawk leads in among other ISO certified manufacturers. “After our audit, we were praised for well controlled calibrations, good use of work instructions and good implementation of risk assessment,” said Loper.
Other areas of improvement will be focused on from the ground, up. “As a part of new processes we are implementing, a high priority will be placed on the understanding of work instruction and training of new and retained production staff,” said Loper.
Mohawk’s new quality rating only proves their dedication to customer excellence.
